Oldway Heights April Adventures – A Month of Joy and Creativity

We are excited to bring you the latest edition of our monthly newsletter, highlighting the wonderful events and activities that took place at our care home during the month of April.

April at Oldway Heights was filled with joy, laughter, and memorable experiences. Here are some of the highlights that brought warmth and happiness to our community:

Easter Egg Painting Extravaganza:
Our residents showcased their artistic talents and celebrated the spirit of Easter through a delightful egg painting session. The vibrant colours and creative designs filled our home with positivity and light.

Chrissie Singer & Luke Harpist:
We were honoured to host talented performers Chrissie Singer and Luke Harpist, who serenaded us with beautiful melodies and entertained us with their remarkable talents.

Visits that Wowed – Animal HQ & Torre Abbey:
CThe visit from Animal HQ brought furry friends to our doorstep, spreading smiles and spreading joy among our residents. A trip to the historic Torre Abbey provided a cultural and enriching experience, allowing us to appreciate art and history in a unique setting by the sea.

Torre Abbey Trips:
Our visits to Torre Abbey were a hit and will be continuing into April, providing our residents with cultural enrichment and enjoyment.

Music Magic: Neil Musician & Louise the Saxophonist:
Neil Musician’s musical prowess and Louise’s soulful saxophone performance enchanted us all, filling the air with melodies that touched the soul and uplifted spirits.

Solourful Festivity: Powder Paint Fight & Rock Painting:
Our care home turned into a canvas of creativity during the lively powder paint fight, bringing out the inner child in all of us. The rock painting activity allowed residents to express themselves artistically, creating beautiful and personalised rock art pieces.

We extend our gratitude to our dedicated staff and performers for making April another great month at Oldway Heights. These enriching experiences would not have been possible without their unwavering support and enthusiasm.

As we look forward to the coming months, we hope to continue creating cherished moments and fostering a warm and vibrant community at Oldway Heights.
