Skies of Joy: Recapping June’s Musical Moments and Airshow Excitement at Oldway Heights Care Home!
We are excited to bring you a recap of the memorable events and activities that unfolded at Oldway Heights Care Home throughout the month of June. From delightful musical performances to fun outings and themed celebrations.

Airshow Weekend:
Kicking off the month with Airshow Weekend, our residents enjoyed breathtaking aerial displays and aircraft performances. They also enjoyed a BBQ and lots of games on the day.

D-Day Remembrance:
On a day to remember D-Day, we reflected on the historic significance of that momentous occasion, honouring those who bravely served and remembering the impact of their sacrifices.

Musical Maestros:
The sounds of harmony filled our halls with captivating performances by Luke the Harpist, Louise the Saxophonist, Bert the Guitarist, and Chrissie the Singer. Their talents brought joy and a sense of melody to our home.

Paignton Pier Trips and National Picnic Day:
We ventured out for trips to Paignton Pier, embracing the seaside atmosphere and creating cherished memories. National Picnic Day brought us together for a delightful outdoor picnic, complete with delicious treats and good company.

Enchanting Encounters:
Animal HQ brought a day filled with furry and feathered friends, while International Fairy Day transported us into a whimsical world of enchantment. Both events added a touch of magic to our days.

Pride Celebrations:
We celebrated diversity and inclusivity with colourful Pride decorations and joyful festivities, honouring the values of acceptance and unity within our community.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all residents, families, and staff members for making June a month filled with laughter, music, and meaningful connections. Stay tuned for more exciting events and experiences to come at Oldway Heights Care Home!
